Mia Ozair, Ed.D.

Founder and Principal of The Ozair Collective, bringing nearly two decades of experience in construction, real estate development, and owner-side leadership across complex commercial and residential projects.


Hands-on Experience . . .
Mia has served as owner, executive leader, and project manager on high-value developments spanning hospitality, entertainment, mixed-use, commercial, and high-end residential environments. Her background includes overseeing multi-million-dollar construction operations, evaluating development opportunities, guiding contract strategy, and stewarding projects from acquisition through execution.

Coupled with meaningful credentials . . .
As a licensed California General Contractor and former principal of a boutique construction firm, Mia understands the realities of the field while operating at a strategic level—curating teams, setting standards, and designing frameworks that allow projects to progress with discipline and clarity rather than constant intervention. Complementing her built-environment expertise, Mia holds a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, where her work focused on leadership engagement, systems design, and long-term organizational effectiveness. This foundation informs her approach to development: structured, intentional, and grounded in integrity.

Mia is also an Orthodox Jewish woman, fully versed in the cultural and communal nuances of the community. She brings a deep understanding of the standards of modesty, discretion, and appropriate professional conduct required for respectful and effective interaction with both men and women across religious and professional contexts. This cultural fluency enables her to guide projects with sensitivity, dignity, and trust—particularly in environments where values, boundaries, and integrity are central to successful collaboration. At The Ozair Collective, Mia serves as the principal-level advisor to owners and developers—guiding selection, shaping process, and stewarding outcomes with a focus on enduring value.
